Mason graduated from University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with his B.S. in Mathematics in 2016. He has worked with students for over a decade in schools and math centers. He taught precalculus at one of the top boarding institutions in the Southeast. His goal with creating Galanto Academy is to bring expert tutoring and test prep to the world.

Maria E. Vives Rodriguez has a doctorate degree in Early Childhood Education from Florida State University. She is a native Spanish speaker from Puerto Rico. María has 20 years of experience teaching a variety of subjects to children, adolescents, and adults. Once she relocated to Chattanooga, 14 years ago, she began tutoring high school students and teaching Spanish to preschool and elementary school children. Currently, she teaches conversational and basic Spanish to adults. She prefers to teach using immersion strategies.

Mindy graduated Summa Cum Laude from Montclair State University in Montclair, NJ in 2009 with a Bachelor's Degree in English. She taught high school English for ten years, including AP Literature and Composition where her students excelled and consistently scored above the national average on the AP exam. She also handled SAT and ACT test prep classes after school, and administered the exams on weekends. Mindy believes that knowing the test and possessing the keys to unlock best practices are paramount to student success. When a student is confident in their approach and in the tools they have, their scores are much more likely to improve.
